What is a Win Gold Challenge?

As an added bonus for fans of Magic: The Gathering, the World
Championship in Memphis, Tennessee will hold an invitation-only event
on December 14, 2008. The only way to qualify is through a Win Gold
Challenge such as ours, and the grand prize is 14K gold embossed
with the Worlds logo valued at $10,000!

Yes, the Lair is hosting a WIN GOLD SEALED TOURNAMENT Saturday the 22^ndat a non typical time of 1:00 pm for $25!! The Top 8 Finishers will Draft!! The top 2 players of the Draft wins an invitation to the Win Gold Championship
held at the 2008 World Championship in Memphis, Tennessee, on Sunday,
December 14, 2008 at 10:00 AM. We will have lots of door prizes to give away between rounds and numerous side events.

Breaking news!! The Lair has decided that the first place finisher in this Tournament will be Knighted!!

BLACK FRIDAY (NOV. 28^th)GOODIES!!

Black Friday, November 28^th is the day after Thanksgiving. We will be running a $7 draft for FNM. The first five people to sign up this day will get in the Draft for free. We will be open at 10:00 AM instead of our regular time. All Magic singles will be buy 1 get the 2^nd one free (of equal or lesser value). The same deal applies to our back stock of comics. This is our 3^rd Annual Thanksgiving Weekend Sale!!

SATURDAY 29^th 8 PERSON MAGIC BOX TOURNAMENTS

More goodies for Thanksgiving Weekend!! On Saturday the 29^thof November we will run 8 man box tournaments for $15. For every pod of 8 people we will start a Standard / Type 2 Single Elimination Tournament for a box of Magic ($144 value) to be distributed amongst the Top 8 according to rank.

1st Place 14 packs ($56 value)
2nd Place 8 packs ($32 value)
3-4th Place 4 packs ea. ($16 value)
5th-8th 2 packs ea. ($8 value)
